I have used a Sunday latex mattress for close to 3 years now. I have to say that it performs its duty — delivering a comfortable sleep experience — in an excellent way. Both me and my wife just love this mattress and we are sleeping well night after night!

Everything about this screams scam. Googling the company will only yield a incredibly vague Wikipedia article and not much else. The are pretty much no results on this supposedly good mid range phone. Watching the review, it’s just such a hilarious level of scam. The stupid marketing video just made it even more obvious. Plus the product itself really was just the icing on the cake.The inclusion of the car charger, the headphones with a 3.5mm jack, the stupid box with the screen in it!

He got half way through the video before having to have a ‘corrections’ section where he took back a load of the claims earlier stated. «There’s no lag» as the phone struggles to swipe between home screens.

Scamming is always an issue with online giveaways. Regardless, there are many others reasons to believe it was all faked. For one, the boxes were visibly empty cardboard boxes that you can buy for cheap in bulk on many websites, in some shots you can see the seams on the edges of the boxes that wouldn’t be there for actual iPhones boxes, and there was no plastic wrapping on any of them. Secondly, it’s estimated that there would be around 800 iPhones in that truck, so he would have had to spend $800,000 CAD to accomplish this giveaway. I could maybe see this happening if the giveaway was sponsored, but it wasn’t, so I just don’t see anyone spending almost a million dollars on a YouTube giveaway. Also, he never mentioned the exact amount that he was giving away. The truck full of iPhones he was gestering toward and showed in the thumbnail pretty much said all that viewers needed to know, but since he never technically said directly, I guess that would help prevent a lawsuit. If it was legit, I’m sure he would have said how many there were, or at least a rough number. I don’t disagree with you. Look, long and short of it: Floss got over-hyped about this product and didn’t properly vet it. I believe he didn’t get a dime from Figger’s, I believe he was interested in hyping a product for a young company coming up, esp since it was a Black-owned company. His first mistake was suspending his usual «keep it real» meter and got hyped to the max after opening the package. And for the price, it does look impressive at first glance. Until you actually look at the items, and fire up the phone and start using it. Floss realized this even while making the video and had to correct himself. To his credit, he did say in the original video that this was not a flagship or flagship-killer, it is a midrange phone for kids or old folks. I watched the video, he did in fact say that.

But Floss’ second mistake was having too much pride and not admitting it when folks started calling him out. Instead of just saying «hey all, my bad, I got too hype, I should have looked at this more closely,» he got defensive and started terribly insulting some folks, then moderating the comments to make it look better. Finally he yanked the video and hoped it would all blow over. Not a good look.

I’ve been watching his vids from the start and he is an entertaining dude and his «real reviews» are informative. But he is human, we all make mistakes. I’m willing to give him one mulligan. As a so called ‘tech reviewer’ he would know whether it had a SD 855. He uses other smartphones with that SoC, so would be completely aware of the fact that the Figgers phone was lagging. He latter said it was trap phone, but why would it be if it had an SD 855? He talks about it like it’s a mid-ranger because he knows it has a slow processor. He said nothing because he’s obviously in on the scam.

The display also looks very poor, yet he said he wasn’t sure if it’s LCD IPS or OLED. He said it probably is LCD, yet left it open for people to wonder what it is, as if it’s a good LCD panel that could be mistaken for OLED. The SD855 is not clocked anywhere near that high, the only SoC that’s clocked that high is the old ass Helio X20/27 and those are deca-core, not octa-core. There should be some sort of repercussions for promotion of this false shit. Figgers is a known scammer, makes fake claims about LTE network (claims simultaneously that it’s an MVNO as well as having their own towers with 99% coverage), uses google image search results pretending to be a server farm for his fake LTE network on facebook, claims to have invented all sorts of random things he never touched, and most recently his F3 phone is literally just a chinaphone rebrand claiming to be USA manufactured. And Flossy, a well known and generally liked reviewer is promoting this garbage to the masses. The comments on the video are also so over the top it seems like there might be some comment deleting or fake comments being made in support.

Every reviewer has a mouth to feed, and every reviewer will sell out for enough zeros after the dollar sign.

Many…. The environment is Toxic and miserable. Management is chaotic; plans and priorities change on a daily basis so you never know where you stand which is demoralising and inefficient. There is little attention to personal career development; AmTrust don’t care about individuals. The IT infrastructure is poor, you’ll wait weeks for a resolution to basic IT issues. To get on you’ll need to be adept at politics and self promotion.

Listen to and communicate more with your staff.

Office location and timing, supportive team members

Management who: Has system for listening to people’s talks Monitors computers and devices on daily bases Forbids people to talk / socialize even at pantry (where btw no space for sitting at all and people eat standing) Criticizing each and every your step / giving negative comments only No positive feedback at all No supporting words at all Firing people in short time without analyzing their performance (in a month 10+people left) Constant change of peopleShow Less

If you really want expand the company — think about employees as they are the valuable asset but not enemy. As each in company (except senior managers) sit and dream how to leave it.

My team is awesome. Great bunch of guys and a few nice girls. The flexibility is good, I can often work from home without a hassle from my manager. Probably one of the better options for tech companies if you are in Cleveland area.

Work in legacy code that is poorly designed and a constant headache. Benefits are barely acceptable, especially if you are supporting a family. Getting promoted requires good office politics and a decent amount of luck. The company has no clear vision, we are constantly re-organizing and re-structuring R&D and it makes no difference, there is still a giant backlog of bugs because of a poorly designed system. They are moving toward offering cloud solutions and making the same design mistakes in their new systems. Be prepared to not write any code for weeks at a time while you debug and test issues due to a lack of automated tests and an abundance of software defects.

SpotterRF would be a great place to work if management knew what they were doing. They micromanage all their employees by setting up desks in their areas and watching them complete tasks. You aren’t allowed to leave until you check in with you manager and are given permission to leave. (They usually have you stay and work more) They are also focused on making the quick buck and saving money so the development process and overall quality are severely reduced resulting in future problems. They also demand loyalty from employees but don’t show any loyalty back. (Forced to stay late, denied PTO, no raise epretty. Employees tend to fear management and don’t feel they can approach management with concerns for fear of being punished. They do not employ an HR representative so employees are left to fend forthemselves. Management is very arrogant and self centered. Company meeting are run by management to criticize the employees while management is praised for anything good that has happened. Management gets all the credit for the good while the employees are blamed for all mistakes, including when management poorly manages a project and it’s late. Management does not accept responsibility for their faults yet they pass ththe blame to those beneath them. Management demands and demands yet makes no effort to reward or recognize their employees. The President has a business management background but has no clue how to effectively run a business. In a meeting she said that the company productivity was at 60%. When asked where the number came from she said she knew because her and her husband (the CEO) had done everyone else’s jobs so they know how long things should take. Ironic because she is only in the office a couple hours a day and spends her time shopping on the internet and does not have an engineering background. And then in a later meeting has her husband validate her intelligence by saying how smart she was in college. Very petty. I would not recommend working at SpotterRF with the current management culture. Lately there has been a a lot of people leaving and I’m sure many more are looking for a new job.

Please view the employees as people and not objects. People are a resource and an expense. Asking them to spend 4 hours of time on a task so you dont have to pay $100 is demotivating and humiliating. So much loyalty is demanded yet benefits and pay aren’t even competitive. Employees have lives and families outside of work. The owners shouldn’t expect employees to have the same commitment to company that they do. Also, make quality a priority. So many projects have fallen on their face because management expedites development. They sell things before they are ready or even developed. Corners are cut and there are always bugs and issues in the field. So much money and time is lost in fixing these problems and the employees suffer. It’s worthwhile to invest in the company and employees to get a solid product.
